Pearl

Hi my name is Pearl, I was one of the originals that Estelle took on to trial Shrink, basically we were her “guinea pigs” lol..  My journey on Shrink has been amazing, it’s had its ups and downs, but with God’s grace and my leaning on him I got through all the hard times.

People and society don’t realize (or don’t want to) that food is an addiction just like (drugs, fags and alcohol). We battle with this addiction every day and what makes it sad is that it’s not recognized as so.

I now work for Shrink and I go around the country doing weigh in’s.  I never in a million years thought I’d be doing this work, never thought I was worthy enough!!  But God saw my heart for this even before I did.

I love seeing the big changes that Shrink is making in people’s lives, people who thought there was no hope for them! people who are getting released from the bondage of food addiction, people who’s health is being improved and who are fitter…

I love my job and I love that I’m part of the journey of Shrinkers and most of all I love seeing the work God is doing through Shrink and the many people he has helped release from the bondage of it.

I’ve cried, I’ve prayed and I’ve laughed with many of my clients and I’m excited to see what God has in store for me and my future in Shrink.  I thank God for my job and that he thought me worthy enough to to be part of his Big Plan.
